Here's a few more pics of what I've been up to. Reading through several posts spread over a few forums led me to using a 98-02 F-body Clutch Slave to actuate the Viper part in my transmission that in turn engages the Mcleod clutch. I took it apart and cut the stopper in half to get the extra throw. I also started on making my original clutch pedal engage it.
