Default "Hydro printing" interior parts

Top of the noob to you.
Currently, I'm hoping to create the illusion that stainless steel console & center dash options must have been available for 67'. Also known as "hydro transfer" or the "water transfer imaging" method, it's a cool process used to cover just about any object of any shape with a variety of patterns. e.g. carbon fiber, brushed stainless steel, camouflage etc. Usually, the part is first surface prepared and epoxie primed then hydro dipped and clear coated. They say the finish will be vary durable. I sent my parts out five days ago and they should be back early next week, project photos to follow.

Anyone here have any experience with this process?
