Default New Guy here with a 1963 Falcon

Hi guys I put together a strong running 1963 falcon hard top. Carbed 1989 5.0 Zspec T5, narrowed explorer 8.8. All the details are shown on another forum. I built a custom front brake setup using 4 piston RX7 turbo calipers under 16x7 late model mustang wheels.

My goal was for a "ground pounding performance machine." I have run a couple of Good-Guys autoX events and had a blast, but I don't think I have quite hit the mark yet. At the last show in Pleasanton I got to see Brian Hobaugh's car up close and in the flesh. All I can say is wow. Quite possibly the coolest car I have ever seen.

The stock interior; no provisions for seat belts and no head rests is just unsafe and the 225/50-16's are just too small. I will be getting a tubing bender and dies in the next couple weeks to start my cage. I also have to decide on 275/40-17's or step up to 315/35's for phase 2 of my build.
