Wow that's funny. Although not quite the same, this reminds me of a book I have "America On Wheels" where they had a story of a failed attempt to make a "drive in and shave" gas station. Unlike this story, you'd stop your car, and while they refuel you could use an electric shaver. Apparently, it didn't last too long. Maybe driving and shaving just don't mix
