Mario, I have done both Grayhound and freight. Grayhound is cheap I sent a complete ground effects setup including front and rear covers to Cal and it was like 60 or so. As for freight I used to buy and sell lots of big items on eBay and if you do not ship freight a lot it will cost you a lot. Well I started talking to the salvage yard I used all the time and they where more then happy to help me get their rates. Also as Greg stated check with DHL I have used them in the past also. I bought a pallet of R12 30lb bottles form the warehouse club some years ago, well then I saw that I wouldn't need that much is I started to sell them off one at a time and found out that DHL was the only one willing to handle these and at very good rates.
