Yes clearance seems to be the issue. Longer term I'm thinking about the Tru Turn setup to help with that. Right now I want to try and get it together and then see how I actually end up using the car. If I get to where I'm tracking it enough I'll probably swap to 18s all around.
The decision to go with the 888 is mostly due to size availability. It was either this or a Nitto drag radial. Reviews I've read indicate this is the better tire.
