This was the first car that really got me hooked. One of my best buddies sisters was dating a guy with a black 79 and a built 305. We rode up to a Whitetail classic and it sounded great and I thought it was fast.
It was all downhill for me after that. My first car was a 1981 Monte with a 327. I raced it and wrecked it.
