I bought this car new in May of 2009. In Dec of 2010, I was rear ended at a stoplight and pushed into the car in front of me, which required a new nose and hood. Since the insurance was paying for most of it, I decided to do the full widebody conversion. All the body panels were replaced with brand new genuine GM parts purchased from GM Parts House. The paint work is excellent. I should also point out that the only parts replaced were body panels...there was zero mechanical damage and the car has always driven the same since new.
The car is my daily driver so it's not a garage queen...there's a few scratches here, normal scrapes on the nose and somehow I've got a rip in the side of the driver's seat (see pic)...but overall, it's in excellent condition. The LS3 has never given me one problem.
