Travis, yes they can panel bond them on but two issues with that, first the channels are painted body color and second panel bond is designed for shear strength, the issue that I world have using it in this application is opening and closing the trunk all the time. It might not fail or it might. Don't get me wrong panel bond it very strong but does have its limitation.  |
Yup they decided to weld them in instead of using the panel bond. Took a little longer but a better result.
Hoping for some color this week.
