Of course I love the car but I'm an FE Ford guy. Of course I don't know how anybody couldn't like the early Mustangs.
That TW would work fine even with carbs. The FAST system should make it very drivable as long as you know how to tune with it.
What are you going to run for wheels and tires?
Which TKO do you have the .82 or .64 5th gear. If you haven't bought the TKO yet I'd think hard about which one to buy. I'd say the .82 5th makes more sense. The one comment I'd make is with the OD 5th I'd go for a deeper rear gear unless you are running a really short rear tire.
