Default lil update on 64 dart gt convertible

havent posted in awhile so thought i should. ive ordered the Alterktion unit from RMS. itll be awhile before it arrives. finally got my bumpers today. a guy on ebay called the chromeguy did them. they turned out nice, but took a little longer to get to my home then they should have. i also got a Moto Lita wood steering wheel for my car. back in the 60s wooden steering wheels were popular on GT cars and Moto Lita supplied steering wheels for many british sport cars and american cars most notibly the GT40 and mustang gt cars. dodge did have wood looking steering wheels on later model cars, but i thought itd be cool to have the real thing, from a company from back in the day. at first i was gonna go for a moto lita steering wheel on ebay, but i found a site that sells them cheaper then the ones on ebay. sticking with the "GT" them, i dont think im gonna use the center counsle i bought last year, it just seems cooler to have only the shifter coming out of the hump on the floor.
check out the pics. the first one is my bumpers (smuggy from finger prints), the second and third is what they look like on a nice 64 gt convertible (not mine, but still nice). the 64 dart gt convertible has kind of a european sports car look up front, but with its long ass in the back shes all american. just imagine the car pictured with some cooler wheels a five speed and a new hemi (6.1 hopefully) under the hood. one of these days.............................................. .........
