As for not keeping up with Mark on the straight ... Marks car is super fast! But I was only suppose to only do one lap so I let out, but decided at the last minute to do one more for the simple fact that I love to chase fast drivers! They make me better. AND...AND...AND, she was mere feet off the bumper of cars [and drivers] of unknown ability. I can't do that. I just..can't! At the speeds we were going, if someone brakes a micropube early...she would have punted them off the track! Someone needs to make her a carbon fiber jockstrap.
As far as being distracting in my mirror....not much to be seen out the back of a 33 Ford. I typically have to spin the car to see what was behind me.
