What amazed me was the republican projection stats were so, so far off. Several of them were calling for a landslide victory for Romney. How in the world could they be that far off....

I don't think any body thought Romney would get less votes then McCain. If all the people who voted for McCain would have voted for Romney yesterday we might not be having in this conversation. I know he would have gotten the popular vote, not sure if that would have gotten the electoral vote.
