I voted for him last time... because he ran on a moderate platform of bringing everyone together... well... that... and who could vote for McCain/Palin. But I've never seen a POTUS that's been more divisive and more anti 'success'.

Just my two cents, but I think Greg is on to something here when he said he was looking for someone moderate the last time around. I think people were still looking for someone moderate this time around. Historically that is what usually plays a big factor in deciding the winner. I wish we could have seen what would have happened if Romney ran on a moderate ticket that didn't veer so far back and forth trying to appease everyone. I think the Romney campaign spent a lot of time pandering to the social conservatives, probably to try and ease their fears of voting for a mormon, which was probably a gigantic waste of time considering how likely social conservatives were to vote for Obama in the first place. Romney's record isn't representative of what a lot of people (left and right) probably figured they would be getting after seeing all of the campaigning done by both parties. I think I'll just cut my ramblings short right there before.
