I've been lucky enough to make a few passes down Pomona with Super Chevy and did some exhibition runs for the High school career day on Wed of the world finals. I hope you make it out here! I'd be there this weekend spectating but I got a birthday to go to.
MY little claim to fame is. One Summit race I had John Calvert first round (he in his "It's Automatic" Mustang) I cut a light and ran a great package and put him on the trailer and that is hard to do
I met most of these Super Stock & Comp guys back when I worked for Bob.
I sold Big Red because (1) I got an offer I couldn't refuse from Austraila and (2) I want?? To go left and right LOL, I raced that car for 7 years, she was dead consistent and as long as I did my job it was hard to beat
I miss the comradery of my racing family, friends & the pit parties
As you've seen... There are a lot of very cool people here on Lat-G and some very impressive cars and builds ...even the Fords
