Ok- so the family car is making some progress, so I figured I would post up a few pics.

Did I mention there was a lot of rust?

After surgery:

The body mounts were toast:

But now they are nice and new:

He's also welding up the seams for some added strength:

New dash metal:

New firewall and floors:

New doors fitting nicely with the rest of the new metal:

Cyber monday was pretty expensive, but I ended up getting some pretty good deals on parts from my shopping list. The CA Chassisworks chassis/strut bars arrived last week along with a complete SS bolt/nut/connectors/shim kit, ididit steering column, a truckload of Fesler parts, bullet side mirrors, DSE wiper motor, etc.

As far as timing, I'm hoping all the metal work/test fitting will be complete in early Jan, I figure 3 months for paint, 3 months for assembly and another month for the custom interior/trunk work. I'm sure we will run into a few hiccups along the way, but I will be happy if this is complete by the end of summer.
