There's a C10 long bed step side in town that I can get for $1800 maybe less. It does run and has an inline 6. Needs a rear end supposedly. There is some rust damage along the rockers and that edge of the floor. I haven't done a thorough look at the truck just a quick glance. Needs side door glass on at least one side. Anyway, is that price even close to being reasonable? Just thinking about picking up a project not looking to flip it or anything. I just happen to really like the long bed step side trucks.


I'll go back a take a longer look at it soon. What else should I look at that's specific to these trucks in terms of hard to find parts or areas where rust/rot typically occurrs? You know, the stuff that will make you say, walk away unless you can get it cheaper or want a major project.
