I have a 68 C10 shortbed and they are lovely trucks. That body style is a favorite among many. Look at the cab corners. Mostly all of them rotted there. Also, two other high rot areas to check are the rockers and the cup on the fenders. In case you don't know what the cup is, it's the inside of the fender at the front, bottom. It's basically what I said...a cup. Water and dirt collected there and caused the fenders to rot. Lastly, check below the battery tray and all along the bottom of the radiatior support.
