Installed and ready to mock up the intake ducting,

picked up a radiator support from the junkyard that I think might work, it's from a 6 cyl Camaro.

Raditor support with my SLP lid installed, getting closer. I need to drop the Radiator about an Inch to make it perfect but I'm getting closer!

I'm wrestling with the same set up for my intake set up for my 69. I had resigned myself to mounting the 4th Gen F-body LS1 radiator without using the SLP air box, however if you have an elegant solution, I'd consider using it.

When I was planning to somehow make the 1st gen/4th gen work, I was going to cut the lower radiator cradle sheet metal out of the 4th gen, and attach it to the 1st gen, then rework the sheet metal on the upper core support to mount the lower air box and make it work with the radiator canted. Hope that makes sense, after thinking about it, I just figured it was a ton of work and unnecessary extra weight, so I decided to take another route.

Current plan is to mount the radiator with no angle, and mount it flush against the 1st gen core support. I have aluminum brackets and will hold the radiator at the 4 points where the core/tank seams meet. Unfortunately that means I have to ditch the SLP air box set up, and buy something else.
