A little birdie --- well "he" actually looks more like Big Bird...and has cars to match his feathers.... whispered in my ear about this thread.

If AriDzona is out then I have nothing to add. Bondurant WILL teach you how to drive - but they're not cheap and they have nothing to offer below a couple grand. It's the best 3 or 4 days money can buy... if you decided to do it.


IMHO there's just no way a commercial driving school can put on a class - supply you with a car/tires/fuel/instructor for a couple hundred bucks. There's just too much overhead. I ran through a complete set of tires in ONE DAY at Bondurant... and even at their cost it would be 400 bucks or so just for that! I actually got kudos for doing that, not a "hey buddy - take it easy".

Gwen gave me a 3 day Corvette driving experience for my 50th -- and it was the most fun thing I think I'd ever done.
