I have 3.5" of space between the passenger side valve cover and the firewall on my Camaro. You should probably ask Blake what he thinks is acceptable and/or what mounts he would use. If he knows of a set of mounts that that do what you want, there is no sense in ordering other ones and having to "experiment," which usually involves time, money, energy and beer if you get frustrated. Just my two cents.
