The fabrication on this project looks absolutely top notch but to be quite honest, I'm worried that a lot is being left on the table with many of the current suspension and chassis solutions. I see that many of the rod ends are loaded in bending, a lot of un-accounted for load paths, many suspension mounts in single shear, and a lack of triangulation. I'm also unsure of why there are rocker arms and push-rods on the rear suspension. There doesn't seem to be any issue packaging an adequately sized damper directly on the rear control arm.
All of the ATS suspension setups I've seen have the spring perch on the bottom control arm. With the pushrod mounted on top of the upper ball joint, I'm worried that the rear uprights may be loaded in a way they aren't designed to be.
Don't get me wrong, I like the build and the fabrication is great. I would just expect that a professionally built chassis would have some more engineering best practice applied.
