It might seem like a lot of drivetrain loss, but remember that comparing a stock LS2 at 400hp to a modified one that was tested on an engine dyno is a bit of an apples to oranges comparison in most cases. Generally engines tested in a dyno cell are tested without any accessories. I bet a bone stock LS2 would make 425 next to your engine. On a loaded chassis dyno, I bet yours makes about the same power.
