, so how do i work out my dish or backspace without a diff to measure from? Im after maximum dish i can run..with a 12 inch rim.

I had a measure of my diff today ,, its a tru trac moser ,, it has big drums,, did they use ford rear brakes on some of these? Im sure i saw a ford logo stamped into the backing plate somewhere when i purchased it? will that be a factor with getting rear discs or are the axle flanges the same stud pattern?
sorry i got a lot of questions here ,, i also thought narrowing each side 2.5 would bring the saddles very close to the axle flange..
