The welder trigger that is .... took everything back apart and took that bracket off and put everything back together (w/ old dash top for reference) and got the gap equal on both sides ... probably better than GM did
Measured a gazillions times again and got some heat on the top cowl and then took my time to get the firewall attached to the cowl, did not warp anything ... and that's a good day.
Anyway, here are some pics, I'll finish dressing the welds another day ... have some homework to do now!!
Put some heat here and did some massaginh w/ BFH.

I still have to do the side cowls, piece of cake now that I have a good reference for them that's not going to move.
