The performance of that car was significant beyond explanation. To take a "tall brick" and get it even within shooting distance of modern technology and methods [with little or no previous tuning] is an epic feat.
Yeah...that was impressive. Next feat...a 4000hp Kenworth!
And lets not discount the willingness of Jack Chisenhall to let Mark FLOG a [I'm guessing] a $400,000 street rod to the point of complete success or submission.
He may own Vintage Air...but he posesses a true hotrodders spirit. Look up the cars that he has built and/or has supervised.
