Bell was existing from 4-spd in car before my time
I had a speed shop install and thy did runout/alignment measures. Said it all checked out in spec.
ZZ4 flywheel resurfaced
TO bearing unknown.
This is wacky since it shifts/drives great at lower speeds but I wanted OD to get on the freeway...

So you used an adapter plate?
The shop said it was OK...............what were the specs that made it OK?
Throwout bearing clearance was?
If they can't spec it they most likely didn't check it and that could be the source of your problem....but you don't know until you check it.
Those specs need to be confirmed as part of the trouble-shooting process.
