The roof skin on my '68 was exactly the same. I ended up having to trim both drip rails. The rear window corners were a major PITA. Ultimately I ended up cutting the window channel corners free from the roof, reshaping it, and adding in a pie shaped wedge to fill in the gaps vacated when I pulled the corners in.

It also seemed a little "short" from front to back. I ended up welding a few 3/4 washers to the window channel in front and back, then used ratchet straps to stretch everything into place. It worked fantastic to pull everything into place, and as an added bonus put a good bit of tension on the metal preventing much of the oilcanning I've noticed on some replaced roof skins.
