One thing we have to remember is we are not building a Mercedes. There's a lot of great builds on this site as well as others. I think we are getting to a point where we are trying to refine our cars to meet the standards of such brands as Mercedes, BMW, etc.. To each his own though. For me, I like to add some refinements to our old steel, but still keep the car true to its roots.
With that said, I do plan to use UPol Raptor liner underneath my car and in the trunk area. I also plan to use Dynamat Xtreme along with a CCF. I'm keeping the jute padding on my carpet and not utilizing anything like MLV. That stuff is extremely heavy. If I were building a stereo system on wheels, then I'd go all out. However, its not really necessary for my build as well as many others.

I am not building a stereo on wheels .... I may do a radio delete and let the engine sing! I will use the 2nd skin on the underside and the trunk and their Firewall product for heat dissipation on the the firewall.
