I believe your bet is good. The tires are probably fairly old they were on the car when I bought it. They are 195/50/15 T/A's with good tread life but show signs of age like cracks.

As far as the 2 products I used, I am happy with what I hear. I do notice a huge difference on exhaust noise. The exhaust ends before the rear end so that made a big difference. I've only done the back half of the car so far but can see change in cabin noise. I think its money well spent if your not worried about weight.

Here are a couple shots I took after putting the dynamat and dynaliner in.
