Default Boosted SBC/T56 Tranny, clutch, gears?

Okay.......So after lots of research I have decided to go with a new T56 for my SBC Gen II Camaro. Im very green when it comes to the manual set up's as far as gearing (close or wide ratio) and rear end gearing go. This isn't going to be a daily driver. It will see AutoX and road courses occasionally. Im mainly going to drive it just to enjoy the vehicle. My largest concern is maximizing performance with a proven combination of parts. I want to be able to race as well as drive it a few hundred miles on a roadtrip. I am not overly concerned with fuel mileage as much as utilizing all six speeds and keeping the rpm's down on the freeway. Im clueless on the clutch I will use, I would like it to be street friendly. Other than that below is what thinking. Please feel free to give any criticism or suggest specific parts that would help me reach my goal. Thanks, Kevin

(Parts Im leaning towards)
T56 close ratio
McLeod/Quick Time Bell housing
Tick Performance Adjustable Master Cylinder
Tilton Hyd. Throwout w/ remote bleeder
Clutch: no clue (McLeod RST street twin)?
Flywheel: Steel or Aluminum?
Gearing:3.89's or 4.11's

(I haven't purchased rear end setup yet, but this is where Im at currently)
Vehicle:
72 Camaro
255/40/18's & 335/35/18's
CAC suspension all around
Motor:
383 stroker
hyd. roller
Vortech V2 w/ purpose built HP750carb
Est.550-575HP @ Crank
