Once the rear diffuser is defined we will mount the battery in the center of the tubes but closer to the axle center line to minimize the swing weight.
You can also see the extension of the rear valance all the way forward to the back of the wheel tubs. You can also see how beefy our chassis tables are. You can't make a chassis table out of material weaker then the car and intend it to anything more the just jack stands. Plus you can't make the table and roller and expect it to be level where ever you move it in the shop.



Finally here is the mock up of the pedal system that will allow us to make custom pedals that we can machine and give us a really nice steering column angle. Hanging pedals would be tough in this car as the reservoirs would be really tight to the hood and tough to fill and the hanging pedals would limit the angle of the column and require more angle to send it through the firewall below the master cylinders and inbetween the brake and gas pedal usually.



We should start back on this months round of work next week. It is coming along nicely and I hope to start doing some heavy design work on the front end of the car.
