Chad, it's only a pain if you do not know how to do it yes you as the shipper are responsible for anything that happens during shipping if the container opens to know fault of their doing (FedEx - UPS) but if they damage it its on them.

We ship paint all over country all the time overnight, from our lab to our training centers and from the field to our lab. Maybe you need a new paint supplier??
