My personal opinion on these cars is that black drowns out a lot of the good looking body lines of the T/A, especially in pictures. It's hard to photograph a black car well. Granted, you will be at a live auction, but you will want to drum up interest prior to the event.

And while the car is not an original T/A, the white/blue or blue/white combination really does look great on that car!

Red is always a popular auction color also, and perhaps better than the black choice. One of my favorite red cars is John's (NOT A TA) car.

In the end, I personally would probably choose any color BUT black, and this coming from someone whose daily drivers almost always ARE black. Take a good look at the picture below. While an awesome car, that is some good camera work to get that shot:
