I went to the SoCal Challenge over the weekend and had a blast. I had never been there before, so I had not learned the tricks of the track. I recently put on Falken RT 615K's and I have been impressed. I was fortune to win the overall during the day. At the end of the day, the track and So Cal crew let me throw on my year old Goodyear slicks for an attempt at the track record. I had a delay due to over heating, but they waited it out for me. I had one crack at it and I made the best of it. The old track record for the past year was held by a modified Miata with aero and forced induction. His time was a 43.24. I beat it by 2 seconds with a 41.25.
