I had a client that bought one about 5 years back that was owned by a famous racer originally. Fittipaldi I think, but I can't remember exactly. He paid $495k for that car and it was Pebble Beach clean. I don't get the car on the show. To have nearly double that in a "modded" F40 is bank account suicide. There's always movement in rare Ferrari numbers, but not 200% guys. I like the show and I'd like to see another small shop make it, but last night was kinda silly. There's not a whale with his head screwed on right that would pay any real money for an F40 hit that hard, fixed by that shop. They're not rare cars since they made over 1300 of them.
