I know where you're coming from - and you're right -- that might be a simple solution --- IF ---- BIG IF --- this wasn't a big azz gooseneck trailer...

The overhang would have to clear the hood of the truck -- by the time you worked all that out -- and had a hitch big enough to make that all work -- I could buy a forklift...
