Hybrid/Electric cars make up about 1% of new car sales here. I think that due to the longer distances we tend to drive here that they are disadvantaged, plus the higher buying price. Thanks - I didn't think the Aussie consumer would be as gullible as the American.

The hybrids have real possibility but currently the range/price shortcomings are a major handicap.

I assume you'll be at Bathurst!?
