Here is an idea for you on the air cleaner.

Get a section of 3.5" tube to run from the MAF to the edge of the driver fender well. Get some aluminum and make a close out plate to drop down from the fender lip, run off the edge of the core support, and basically close off the large open hole there that allows you to see the back side of the driver marker lamp when looking in the engine bay.

Bore a 3.5" hole in the plate you made and put a cone filter on the back. You can fit a 6" long filter in there. Summit sells them for like $29.95. You can get the hump hoses almost anywhere to go from the MAF to the tube, then the airfilter will have its own clamp, etc.

This will allow it to suck cold air from behind the driver headlight and you won't see the filter when the hood is open.
