I'd stay away from American Powertrain's kit. If you don't have an engine plate it won't work. I tried it and it required spacers, and even with 1/4" of spacers it wasn't enough. I called Hurst Drivelines and I forget the part numbers (this was about a year ago) but they recommended McLeod (although he pronounced it Mcloud) parts. Supposedly they're the best.
Whatever you do, get the kind of kit that has the bracket that mounts behind the brake master cylinder. If the clutch master cylinder mounts directly to the firewall, be prepared for a lot of flexing and possibly breaking the firewall at the mounting area.
