That would be your call, I know I don't want all that wiring to be seen in the eng bay. My only issue is that with the size of the connectors, making a hole in he firewall that will fit the connectors and not look like poo. I don't think that there is really any advantage one way or the other as far as buying one or having one re-worked. Just my .02, but I'm still a noob at the ls swaps
