Hi,
Just wondering how you did at the Cloverdale Show.
I got a late call friday evening to run up to ALL IN ONE CUSTOMS which is across from West Coast and fix a $7,500 air ride system on a 64 Impala so the guy could cruise the parade. It was too funny. Another shop in Sacramento did the Air Ride install and they did some awesome work but failed to show the owner where the reset button was on the circuit breaker and how to reset it when it pops...LOL Oh it popped like designed. I told the guy you can't be dropping and raising the car 20 times and have 4 compressors running and not trip the breaker. Plus I had to point out his charging system is in need of a Power Master Alternator and another battery if he plans to play like that
I didn't see your car in the parade. I had a blast switching from riding in his 64 to riding in his 70 SS Chevelle. We left a lot of rubber up and down the main drag in that car...LOL
Two weeks ago I pulled a motor out of one of his chevelle's with a BDS 8-71 blower and he is hiring me to detune it and stuff it in one of his 64 Impala's...that's gonna be fun! After talking with BDS and picking a pulley with more teeth his poor motor lost over 150 hp and will now only be producing in the mid 700 Hp range. This is gonna be a fun project for me.
Funny story about that parade. The owner of the shop kept saying "hey that's my 69 Chevy truck"....point to a sweet baby blue 3/4 ton truck dropped and smoothed all out. I just let him talk and on the way back again he kept on so I finally starting busting up laughing and said..."Dude, I built that truck last year at my shop before moving up here"....Total Silence for the next few blocks.
Anyway, I hope you were at the show Saturday and finally able to drive your car home.
Joe
