You can't run it all the way down with the stock springs. The GW springs are shorter, yet stiffer. 500 lb in . If I was planning on using the stock sub frame I would get droped spindles. You just need to be careful what drop spindles you go with. I wanted the AFX spindles because they give the drop, improved geometry, a way better hub and bearings, and less unsprung weight. Depending on what sub I get I might still end up getting them. I have heard some bad stuff about fat man drop spindles but don't have any first hand experience with them.
