IMO it's totally dependant on the car. It needs to be able to keep the right stance and have the tires actually up in the fenders.
22's may be a bit much on a 1st gen camaro, but the one I have seen on 20/22's was NIIIICE
Probably doesn't handle all that well but it looked great.
Building a 65 caddy, 22's are probably a little small
Want it to handle really well, 18's all around is the money setup.
