OSB has it's place! Recently I've seen some pretty trick structural joists in commercial applications.......it is also relatively lightweight compared to plywood, though I digress. When properly supported it is a suitable surface to adhere cheap carpet to and test my sophisticated design temporarily then use for future templates. Most importantly in my case..........it was cheap and I had it in stock! After all this is just a dime-a-dozen Chebby not a state-of-the-art Ferd.
