I do! Years ago I was lucky enough to fly with a few WW2 pilots at the local airport in SLC. They had a Stearman they helped maintain there and would take me flying with them. Thanks to them I was able to fly not only the Stearman, but also a T-6, a B-17, a B-25 and a few other classics from that era. Additionally I was able to hitch a ride in many more, including a P-51. While the aircraft where awesome and a lot of fun, the cool thing was to hang out with these guys. When they would open up and talk about where they had been, what they had gone through and what they had done....that was what made it cool for me. It was a real honor to spend time with them and be included in their group. It's a period of my life that I will always look back on and smile. Sadly, none of those guys are with us today. They had a very positive influence on me.
