I had the Specialty Power Window version in my 56 Nomad and that worked flawlessly for the 15 years I owned the car - and I drove in the rain plenty of time (live in Seattle, WA). It's easy to mount - and the "tube" the cable runs in is easy to form. They use a bell crank type assembly with a plate with various position so you can set up your stop start index for the arms... you'll have to do some comparison of the sweep of the vehicles "known" in the instructions to compare to the Javelin which I'm going to bet is not one of the known cars listed (but maybe it is!)
