I think you guys will find that the rules have been put in place to give a general starting point to go off of, as with any sanctioning body. It's going to tough for Jimi and all of these guys to deal with because they will never be able to keep everyone happy. These rules will be scrutinized and will definitely be amended over time. I'm quite certain there will be many judgment calls made by the officials.
I can't speak for them, but Pappy you are getting way too technical with rule book. A car in the situation you are speaking of will be fine.
With some of this you are just going to have to read between the lines. E85, ethanol should most definitely be allowed. Its essentially "gasoline"
