We've been looking for a house on about 5 acres with a shop or garage already built. There's a million of them where we're looking, but my wife doesn't like any of the houses. I'm more concerned with the garage.

Myself, I spent 3 years on Oahu when I was an Army helicopter mechanic stationed at Schofield Barracks, but actually worked at Wheeler AFB.
Being from the Midwest, I did NOT go kicking and screaming when I came back to the Mainland. I missed the change of seasons. For me, Paradise got kind of old after a while......but having said that, I did enjoy my time in Hawaii. Lots of stories.
