That is the focus of my car. I should be around 3100lbs and the same or slightly less HP as the Z28. .
The ZL1 diff has a built in cooler, so I would think its more geared towards road racing than 1/4 mile racing. not to mention it is a 9.9inch diff so it has a gear set similar to that of a dana 60 in size.

I have one sitting in the shop now and is getting stuffed under my Chevelle.
